Dmitry Mitrohin

Russia (1883—1973)
After studying at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Mitrohin went to Paris and St. Petersburg, where he started his career as an illustrator for children’s books. In 1916 he joined the World of Art Association and was responsible for the drawings and engravings collection of the Russian Museum. During his career he worked with drawing, etching, xylography, metal engraving, linocut and watercolours, proving to be one of the most versatile artists from the Silver Age to the avant-gar
