Joan Salvat-Papasseit
Spain (1894—1924)
Catalan poet, Salvat-Papasseit started his career writing essays such as Glosas de un socialista, Humo de fábrica, as well as contributing on the literary review Un Enemic del Poble. He also wrote manifestos such as Sóc jo que parlo als joves and Concepte de poeta and Contra els poetes amb minúscola: primer manifest català futirista in 1920. In the same period he wrote Poemes en ondes herzianes, with a cover illustrated by Joaquín Torres García. He also collaborated with magazines such as Arc-Voltaïc and Proa.
