Lotte Gerson-Collein

Germany (1905—1995)
Born in Essen, Lotte Gerson studied architecture at the Bauhaus Dessau from 1927. She focussed on photography, depicting the life at the Bauhaus but also studying the light and contrasts of simple objects. In 1931 she married Edmund Collein, who had also studied at the Bauhaus and trained as an architect.
