Despite his law studies and a comfortable career path, in 1935 Buzzi resigned from his job to devote himself entirely to literature and poetry. He joined the Futurist movement as one of its earliest members, signing its manifesto. He also contributed as a literary critic to the Futurist review Poesia, founded by Marinetti and Benelli. His involvement extended to theatre, for which he wrote Sei sintesi sceniche in 1917 as part of the programme developed by Marinetti, Settimelli and Corra for a new Futurist theatre.
