Thomas Ring

Germany (1892—1983)
Despite the wishes of his father, the young Ring enrolled at the School of Arts and Crafts in Berlin and was influenced by Kandinsky and Der Blaue Reiter. He got close to the circle of Herwarth Walden and Der Sturm. On his return from WWI he discovered his interest for astrology, which he renamed ‘revised astrology’ and moved to Austria in 1938. After WWII he remarried and spent his life writing the Astrological Anthropology, two novels and nearly 700 notes of his horoscope interpretations.
